Watch Premier League Live
To watch Premier League live in the US you need to know three names

Peacock, NBC and USA Network. Every match of the season is shown on one of them, and Spanish broadcasts run on Telemundo and Universo.
All of these belong to NBCUniversal, which holds the US rights through the 2027-28 season. The split between them is what decides whether a match costs you anything, so here it is at a glance.
- Peacock: around 175 matches per season that air nowhere else. Paid monthly plan, in English.
- USA Network: most of the televised matches. Needs cable or a live TV streaming plan, in English.
- NBC: a selection of headline matches. No monthly cost with an antenna, in English.
- Telemundo and Universo: selected matches in Spanish. Telemundo comes over the air; Universo needs a TV plan.

Which option fits you
You follow one club and want every match. You will need Peacock plus a way to get USA Network. No single option covers a full season for one team.
You want the big matches and nothing more. An antenna for NBC covers a share of the headline fixtures at no monthly cost. Add Peacock in the months when your schedule is busy.

You already pay for live TV. Check that your plan includes NBC and USA Network. If it does, the only gap left is the Peacock exclusives.
Peacock
Peacock is the streaming home of the league in the US. Roughly 175 matches each season are shown only there, and matches televised on NBC are available on it as well. It is a paid service, and there is no free way to watch Premier League matches on it.
How to use it:
- Go to the official Peacock site or install the app.
- Create an account and choose a plan.
- Open the Sports section and select Premier League.
- Pick the live match from the schedule.
- Check the replay section if you missed kickoff.
Keep in mind: the plan renews every month until you cancel it.
USA Network
USA Network carries most of the matches that are televised rather than streamed exclusively. It is a cable channel, so it does not come through an antenna. You get it with cable, satellite, or a live TV streaming service such as YouTube TV, Hulu + Live TV, DirecTV or Sling.
How to use it:
- Confirm that your TV plan lists USA Network.
- Find the channel in your guide before matchday.
- Sign in to your provider's app if you watch on a phone.
- Tune in a few minutes before kickoff.
- Use your plan's recording feature for early matches.
Keep in mind: live TV plans cost far more than a single streaming app, and channel lineups differ by plan.
NBC with an antenna
NBC is a broadcast network, which means its signal travels over the air. In most US markets an indoor antenna picks up the local NBC station with no subscription. Only a small number of matches are placed on NBC each season, but they tend to be the ones with the widest interest.
How to use it:
- Connect an indoor antenna to your TV.
- Run a channel scan in the TV settings.
- Find your local NBC station in the list.
- Check the weekly schedule for matches assigned to NBC.
- Move the antenna near a window if the picture breaks up.
Keep in mind: reception depends on how far you live from the station's tower.
What you can watch without paying, and what you cannot
Here is the plain answer. The matches placed on NBC are open to anyone with an antenna. Selected Spanish broadcasts on Telemundo work the same way. Match highlights are posted on the NBC Sports channel on YouTube after the final whistle.
Everything else needs a subscription. The largest block of matches is exclusive to Peacock, which has no free tier for live games. The matches on USA Network need a TV plan.
Some live TV streaming services offer a trial period for new customers. A trial lets you watch NBC and USA Network matches for a few days, but it asks for a payment card and becomes a paid plan automatically when it ends. Trial terms change often, so read them on the service's own page before you sign up.
Before the match starts
- The season runs from August to late May, with 380 matches in total.
- Weekend kickoffs usually fall between 7:30 AM and mid afternoon Eastern Time.
- The channel for each match is announced several weeks ahead.
- A match on USA Network one week may be on Peacock the next.
- The final day of the season has all ten matches at the same time, spread across several channels.
- Sign in to your app the night before an early match.
What it really costs
Watching only the NBC matches costs nothing per month after you buy an antenna. Following the full season means paying for Peacock and for a TV plan that includes USA Network at the same time. Prices are updated by the services during the year, so the official pages listed at the end are the place to confirm them.
